Welcome to Middle School Social Studies!  I am Laurie Blewett, wife, mother and educator! I started teaching in 1986 in Beaumont, Texas.  I taught Advanced Placement Government at West Brook High School in Beaumont.  My family and I moved to the Hill Country in 2007.  I am certified in Political Science, Economics, Journalism, English Second Language, Special Education, and Generalist 4-8. I am blessed to be a part of the Hunt Community.
